Due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, Germany just issued below updated travel regulations for all passengers starting today 30th March 2021 and valid until 12th March 2021.
New travel rules to enter Germany are as follows :
Ø All passengers entering Germany are obliged to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test before boarding the flight.
Ø No passenger should be carried without a negative COVID-19 test.
Ø Transportation of passengers with a positive COVID-19 test is forbidden. Those passengers have to follow the local quarantine regulation.
Ø The test has to be a PCR test with the specifications according to the recommendations of WHO and has to be carried out no more than 48 hours prior to entry in Germany. (Tests accepted by the German Authorities are available at www.rki.de)
Ø The passengers have to carry the proof of the negative test when entering Germany as the Federal Police will do checks upon arrival.
Ø Crews and children up to 6 years are exempted from this new regulation.
Ø The obligation to fill out an online form when returning from “RISK AREA, HIGH RISK AREA and AREA OF VIRUS VARIANTS” are still valid. Link below:
