Entry / Entrée   ARRRIVING PASSENGERS   Arriving Passengers All international arriving passengers, including thosefrom the ECOWAS region, will be required to meet the following health requirements prior to admission into Ghana:   Passengers must not have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 including body temperature >38°C.   Passengers must possess a COVID-19 negative PCR test from an accredited laboratory in the country of origin. The test should have been done not more than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time from the country of origin   Airlines who board passengers without PCR test result or transport and disembark passengers with Positive PCR test result into Accra will be fined US$3,500 per passenger.o Non-Ghanaians may be refused entry and returned to the point of embarkation atacost to the Airline.oGhanaians will be allowed entry but subject to 14 days of mandatory quarantineat a designated facility.   Arriving passengers will undergo temperature screening   Ghanaian residents who depart Ghana and return within one (1) week will not be required to present a COVID-19 result from the country of departure.They will, however, undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing upon arrival in Ghana   Passengers will be subjected to a mandatory COVID-19 test at the airport terminalat a cost to be borne by the passengeras indicated below:•       Ghanaians and Ecowas Citizens -$50• All Other Passengers-$150 Payment MUST be made online at https://myfrontierhealthcare.com/Home/Ghana andproof of payment (receipt) shown to Airline before boarding     Airlines who board passengers without proof of payment for the COVID-19 test and     would/could NOT pay for the test in Ghana, will be fined US$3,500 per passenger.o Non-Ghanaian passengers may be refused entry and returned to the point ofembarkation at a cost to the Airline.o Ghanaian passengers will have their passports seized; the passenger handed overto State Security Agencies and taken into a fourteen (14)day quarantine at a designated location at the passenger’scost.    All arriving passengers who test positive for COVID-19 will undergo mandatory isolation and treatment at a designated health facility or isolation centre,at a cost to passengers, EXCEPTGhanaian citizens. The isolation will be for a periodof seven (7) days. However, the final discharge of cases will be based on existing case management guidelines and protocols   l passengers who test negative for COVID-19 will be required to continuously adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols and will receive regular information on COVID-19 within five(5) days of arrival in Ghana   Passengers who test negative will be advised to continue to observe COVID-19 safety precautions following arrival in Ghana    For passengers who transit through other countriesbefore arriving in Ghana, the    first country of departure will be the reference point. (Connecting flights should not deny passenger boarding, as long as the journey has not been terminated in any of the transit countries   Transit Passengers a)Passengers transiting and transferring through Accra will not be required to take the COVID-19 test in Accra.b)Transit passengers will be required to adhere to COVID-19 testing requirements for the destination countries   Exemptions a)Airline crew are exempted from the pre-departure and arrival COVID-19 testing and should follow the Airline policy for testing. b)Children under 5 years of age will not be required to undergo testing on Arrival at the Kotoka International Airport. c)Passengers who arrive under emergency circumstances such as diverted flights will not be required to undergo testing if they do not leave the airport or remain in isolation in their hotel. d)Children between the ages of 5-12 years will be required to pay for testing at the new rates (refer to no.1f)     Passengers must wear face mask appropriately (extending from the middle nasal bridge to halfway between the chin and the neck) and are advised to regularly use any of the hand sanitizing stations provided in the terminal.   .Travelling with Petsa)Travelling with pets into Ghana is allowed in line with guidelines of the Veterinary Services Directorate of the Ministry of Food & Agriculture     Departing Passengers   All international departing passengers will be required to meet the following guidelines prior to departure: a)Passengers will be required toadhere to COVID-19 testing requirements for the destination countries b)Departing passengers will undergo temperature screening at the entrance of Terminal 3 departures c)Only passengers and persons with business in the terminal will be allowed entry d)Onlinecheck-in or the use of self-service kiosks is strongly encouraged to reduce physical contact at the airport e)Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time         CREW MEMBERS ON ARRIVING FLIGHTS Crew members must not have any symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 including body temperature >38°C. All persons must be wearing face mask appropriately upon arrival (extending from the middle of the nasal bridge to halfway between the chin and the neck) and adhere to social distancing and hygiene protocols.   Exit/Sortie   DEPARTING PASSENGERS All passengers on international travel originating in KIA will be required to meet the following requirements before departure: Departing passengers will be required to adhere to COVID-19 testing requirements for the destination countries.Departing passengers will be required to always wear a face mask appropriately (extending from the middle of the nasal bridge to halfway between the chin and the neck) and adhere to social distancing and hygiene protocolsAll departing passengers will undergo COVID-19 screening including the checking of temperatureComply with the COVID-19 requirements at your destination country CREW MEMBERS ON DEPARTING FLIGHTS All crew members on international flights departing KIA must adhere to COVID-19 testing requirements for the destination countries. In addition, they must always wear a face mask appropriately (extending from the middle of the nasal bridge to halfway between the chin and the neck) and adhere to social distancing and hygiene protocols.   Exemptions The following categories of passengers and crew are exempt from COVID-19 PCR test Testing Children under-5 years of age will not be required to undergo testing at the airport.Persons who arrive under emergency circumstances such as diverted flights will not be  required to undergo testing if they do not leave the airport or if they remain in transit such that they do not leave the hotel. Airline crew are exempt from the pre-departure and arrival testing and should follow airline policy for testing.

Check-in Counters The Covid 19 Pandemic has posed serious challenges to internally travel (Air, Land and Sea) in order to contain the further spread of the Covid 19 Pandemic, countries around the world closed all borders and restricted travel travel by air, land and sea. However, with many countries now gradually reopening up several Covid 19 restricts have been eased. The National Public Health Institute of Liberia and other stakeholders have been mandated to institute measures to mitigate the further spread of Covid 19 in Liberia. As part of NPHIL mandates, a process for ensuring safe travel of people leaving Liberia as well as those entering the Country are tested for Covid 19 and results negative.   APPILCATION AND PROCESSING PROCEDURES All individuals desiring to travel out to travel out of Liberia by air, land or sea, should follow the following steps for obtaining travel certificate :   Step 1 : the traveler or person intending to travel must proceed to any of the Covid 19 sample collection sites at least 72 hours before date of travel to have to have his or her sample collected for testing.   Step 2 : the traveler or person intending MUST apply (stating full name as is in passport and test collection data, contact number and email) at least 72 hours for their travel certificate by phone or email (text, call or email 0777344218/888349115 mfallah@gmail.com) to the office of the Director General and copy the below email addresses and numbers.   luciambawo@gmail.com          +231770777888Jon186lend@gmail.com           +231770201710/886553011amosfg7@gmail.com                +231777344218   Step 3: The applicant must indicate how the results intend to be packed up for certificates processed on weekends and holidays, certificate will be delieved electronically.   Note : Only people with negative test results will be issued a travel certificate.
